Bravery in my dictionary
like a road map simile
it speaks about its queens
forces submission to kings

so once I told it I could sing
it asked if in King’s English
of the women with olive skin
I asked if they grew in trees
or fall from heights heavenly
like all of its quaint vocabulary.
